Singapore, Millennium & Copthorne International Limited (MCIL), a Singapore-based hospitality management company which manages more than 88 hotels in 16 countries, announced the return of Mr Dinky Puri to reprise his role as Senior Vice President of Special Duties for MCIL and also assuming the additional role as General Manager of the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore (GCW).

Dinky returns from London, United Kingdom, where he was President of Millennium Hotels Europe to assume his roles. “An experienced hotelier, Dinky has returned to Singapore at a time when the industry is looking at increasing yield and return. I am confident that in his new role as General Manager of GCW, he will be able to propel the hotel and its Waterfront Conference Centre to greater heights and profitability,” said Mr Vincent Yeo, President of Millennium & Copthorne International Limited.

A Singaporean, Dinky is a veteran hotelier with over 31 years of hotel industry experience. His extensive experience and distinguished career span over four continents, included countries such as United Kingdom, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Germany, France, Barbados and Kenya. He had worked with several international deluxe hotel chains such as Steigenberger Hotels, Oberoi Hotels and the InterContinental Hotels Group.

Dinky is a motivated hotelier who is highly committed to the development of human resources in the hospitality industry. He has also always been actively supporting the industry with his involvement in working with numerous government bodies and the Singapore Hotel Association.

With his extensive experience from his various capacities around the world, enthusiasm and passion for operational excellence, marketing and revenue generation, Dinky will greatly add value to the MCIL group and continue to strengthen the brand.
