NEWPORT NEWS, Va. and MCLEAN, Va. | Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Cheryl Johnson as Director of Sales & Marketing for the full-service, upscale 256 guest room Newport News Marriott at City Center in Virginia. The Hotel and Conference Center opened last year and is the focal point of the new City Center at Oyster Point. The property is managed by Crestline Hotels & Resorts.

Ms. Johnson joins Crestline Hotels & Resorts from the Omni Newport News Hotel where her most recent position was Director of Sales & Marketing. She brings more than 16 years of hospitality management experience to her new role including a 10 year tenure at the Omni Newport News and six years at the Holiday Inn, Hampton, VA.

The Newport News Marriott at City Center
