Dallas, TX | Leo Spriggs of Hospitality Management Corporation recently announced that the new Hawthorn Suites Lubbock Southwest is currently under construction and scheduled to open this fall.

Located at 4435 Marsha Sharp Freeway in Lubbock, TX, the extended-stay hotel will have all the comforts of home plus upscale services to make your stay a pleasant and memorable one! Inside the 100,000 sq. ft., four-story hotel will be 132 suites. Guests can choose from studios, one bedroom, luxury, and presidential suites, according to Doug Belk, General Manager. All suites are equipped with full kitchens, including dinnerware. Other in-suite conveniences include a data port and wireless access for laptop hook-ups, an oversized work area, and daily complimentary newspaper.

It’s not all work and no play at Hawthorne Suites. To help guests unwind, every suite contains a 32” flat panel television with extended cable and movie channels, DVD player, and complimentary movies. Daily housekeeping service is there to keep your suite clean; they even do the dishes! All suites are non-smoking, and ADA-accessible suites are available on the first floor.

Other comforts available to guests are daily complimentary hot breakfast buffet, full-service lounge, evening social hour Monday through Thursday, guest laundry and valet service, on-site fitness center, on-site business center, and on-site convenience mart. If you need to leave the hotel, a shuttle service is there to take you around town and, of course, to the airport.

The hotel will have meeting spaces for up to 100 guests and two executive board rooms. These rooms are great places to hold a business meeting or a banquet.

The Hawthorn Suites and its developer, Tao Development Group, LLC, are positioning the hotel to be an integral part of the community from its strategic location next to Grace Clinic and a stone’s throw away from Texas Tech University, Covenant Medical Center, and Covenant Lakeside. They hope to provide residents and visitors a hotel experience like no other in Lubbock.
