Guests are getting happier with their hotels, judging from a study released Tuesday by J. D. Power & Associates, a research company based in Westlake Village. Compared with results in last year’s study, customers are more satisfied with their lodging experiences, especially as regards cost and fees, reservations and guest rooms, said Mark Schwartz, director of the global hospitality and travel practice for the company. The study surveyed more than 53,000 hotel guests between June 2009 and June this year.
