The Lexington Collection® of hotels, inns, and suites continues to heat up the market with the addition of Lexington Hotel Key West, a full-service resort located in tropical Key West, FL.

Formerly a Holiday Inn, the Lexington Hotel Key West features 141 oversized rooms with luxury bedding, a fitness center, large outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, and a multilingual staff. Its onsite restaurant and lounge, InKahoots, offers American fare, while the InKahoots Sports Lounge, a local favorite, provides daily happy hour specials.

Hostmark Hospitality Group manages the property and chose to re-flag the hotel to Lexington for several reasons. "Instead of mandating changes that don't always make sense for our property and location, they allow us to make the improvements that will help us better serve our market niche," said Robert Cataldo, vice chairman and COO of Hostmark. "The property was also in need of a better distribution network and Lexington has provided all the resources we need."

"The Lexington Hotel Key West is a great example of how 'one size fits all' does not work when it comes to Property Improvement Plans," said Bill Hanley, group president of the Lexington Collection. "They have a beautiful resort location that attracts both business and leisure segments. They also have some unique challenges and Lexington works directly with them to meet their needs head on.
