Cotell Launches New Range of Hotel Telephones
Cotell announces the launch of its new Fuego Hotel Phone series designed to bring cutting-edge styling and the latest technology to Hotel Guest Rooms
LONDON, UK | Cotell International, the specialist hotel telephone manufacturer, today announced the launch of its latest range of Hotel Telephones. The new range – aptly named the "Fuego" Series – is lighting up the industry with an exciting blend of modern styling and new innovations which they claim will consign the traditional hotel phone to the history books.
"In creating the Fuego range we've re-imagined the hotel telephone and re-assessed its purpose. Besides providing all important hotel phone functionality, the foremost priority for Hotels is to have a great looking phone, a phone that's intuitive to use, and a phone that will last", says Wang Swee Lee, President and CEO of Cotell International.
Mr Wang continues: "The Fuego Series has been designed with an exciting modern style, which is also the key to its durability. The desk-mounted phones feature a solid metal stand which is both a stunning and tactile design feature, and also gives the phones superior strength and rigidity. Similarly the new body shape allows for the use of thicker plastics which adds both ruggedness and durability.
"The new Fuego Series of Hotel Phone also includes more subtle practical design features, such as the option of solid Acrylic and PVC custom-design faceplates, which give the impression of the hotel's branding and details being printed directly onto the main facia of the phone, rather than stuck on as an after-thought.
To enhance the look of the phone further, Cotell is also offering the Fuego models with a Hi-Gloss scratch-resistant paint finish – a first for the industry, and something which will give hotel room designers the chance to customise the colour scheme of the phone to match the décor of their hotel room.

It is clear that the hotel phone is still a very important piece of equipment for hotels - and hotel management have a great deal of input to give manufacturers.
