Hyatt Summerfield Suites becomes HYATT house in Austin, Houston and Colorado Springs
New year, new name. Shortly after ringing in the new year, the Hyatt Summerfield Suites hotels managed by White Lodging Services changed their name to the HYATT house as part of a company-wide rebranding.
The hotel's new names are HYATT house Austin Arboretum, 10001 N. Capital of Texas Highway, in Austin; HYATT house Colorado Springs, 5805 Delmonico Dr., in Colorado Springs; and HYATT house Houston/Galleria, 3440 Sage Rd., in Houston.
"We are excited about the opportunities that the new HYATT house brand will have to offer to our customers," said Brandyn Brown, general manager of HYATT house Colorado Springs. "The best part is that ownership and management will remain the same, so guests can expect the same great service they have received before."
Hyatt merged the Hyatt Summerfield Suites and Hotel Sierra brands into the HYATT House, a fresh, new take on extended stay hotels. The change reflects a casual but sophisticated environment designed to make guests feel at home while they're away from home.
"Guests may find a different name over the door, but the service that keeps them coming back to us hasn't changed," said Brian Long, general manager of the HYATT house Austin Arboretum. "We're very excited to be part of the new HYATT house brand, with many great things to come."
While the name changed in January, the services and amenities that make guests comfortable will remain unchanged. Changes to the spaces and some offerings will begin this year to help meet the daily needs of guests during long-term stays.
The food and drink offerings guests have enjoyed in the past will continue, but new offerings are being tested and developed.
