Best Western International NEW

Bangkok – Best Western International – the World's Largest Hotel Chain® – has continued its fast-paced global expansion with the launch of the first chic, contemporary BEST WESTERN PLUS hotel in Serbia.

Located in the historic city of Ruma, nestled into the foothills of the dramatic Fruska Gora Mountains between Belgrade and Novi Sad, the new BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Park marks the entry of the modern, upscale BEST WESTERN PLUS hotel collection in Serbia.

"This latest opening is further evidence of the major impact the BEST WESTERN PLUS brand has had since its international launch in 2011," said Glenn de Souza, Best Western International's Vice President International Operations – Asia & the Middle East.

"Modern and hip, yet retaining our core values of warmth, comfort and value-for-money, BEST WESTERN PLUS really seems to have struck a chord with guests and owners alike. For those seeking a contemporary, upscale hotel experience, combined with the utmost convenience and excellent service, BEST WESTERN PLUS really is a fantastic option" Mr. de Souza added.

The hotel offers 73 sleek, stylish rooms and suites, featuring the latest technology such as flat-screen TVs and free internet access. Other hotel facilities at the BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Park include an elegant restaurant called Metropolitan and the aptly-named Kosmopolitan bar.

Another key element of the new hotel will be its meeting and event facilities. Billed as a perfect getaway for business events and weddings, BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Park offers a modern conference room able to seat up to 100 people in a theater style, as well as a banqueting hall capable of holding 300 guests.

Due to the hotel's close proximity to the Fruska Gora National Park, with its natural spas, picturesque lakes, nature reserves and historic villages, BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Park is also an ideal location for team-building activities and incentives.

Best Western now operates six hotels in Serbia, comprising almost 500 rooms across five unique destinations – Belgrade, Nis, Novi Sad, Ruma and Subotica.
