In conjunction with the IHG Conference in Orlando in October 2012, Pride Hospitality held their Annual Award Ceremony. The following awards were received:

  • General Manager of the Year: Cindy Landeche of the Baymont Inn & Suites in Houma, Lousiana.
  • Most Revenue Growth Year over Year: Lindsey Childs, GM of the Holiday Inn Express in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, had an increase year over year of over $334,000.
  • Most Enrollments in Frequent Stayer Program: Clarence Smith, GM of the Holiday Inn Express in Houston, Texas, and his team had over 800 enrollments. He also won this award last year.
  • Hotel with the Most Fundraising: Holiday Inn Express in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. They raised over $1,096 for Give Kids the World Village through a penny contest. (www.gktw.org)
  • Service Award: Sue Waples, GM of the Holiday Inn Express in Portland, Indiana, and her team had a three month rolling score of 88.92.
