The Palais Hansen Kempinski Vienna becomes the first hotel property to install Quadriga’s award-winning PMN solution
The recently opened Palais Hansen Kempinski Vienna has installed Quadriga's Personal Media Network™ solution in all guest rooms, becoming the inaugural property to install this award-winning application, which is transforming the industry and revolutionising in-room entertainment and the guest experience.
A key requirement for the elegant and stylish Palais Hansen Kempinski, consistent with its contemporary and sophisticated style, was to feature the latest guest technology and it duly selected Quadriga for its PMN™ solution and iRiS Software Systems for its guest-facing applications. All 152 guest rooms and suites are equipped with iPads, which have Quadriga's PMN™ application and the iRiS Guest Valet interactive guest services application installed on them, enabling the hotel to deliver a premium and truly differentiated guest experience. Quadriga's PMN solution enables guests to control their in-room TV from the iPad, creating a seamless, unified experience for the guest. The award-winning iRiS Guest Valet enables the hotel to bring their services and facilities to life, from controlling the air conditioning, to ordering room service or booking a spa treatment, all at the touch of a button in the guest's preferred language.

The iRiS Guest Valet has already proved itself to be an impressive app in our other hotels and guests are genuinely wowed by this. We have also integrated it into our Room Management System enabling guests to control the room temperature, lighting and more."
The PMN app unifies and synchronises the in-room TV and iPad to create seamless functionality, while connected to the hotel's WiFi network. Guests are able to scan a wide selection of free to guest programming options via an Interactive Program Guide residing on both the TV and the iPad, as well as browse and select from the latest on-demand movies, all for play-out on the in-room TV.
In addition to providing an integrated viewing environment for the guest, the hotel benefits from the ability to promote its restaurants, bars, spa and hotel services directly to guests in their rooms via the intuitive and engaging user interface.
Ultimately, with Quadriga's PMN, guests at the Kempinski Vienna will be able to integrate their own personal mobile devices with the in-room TV and iPad, along with the various forms of personal content (device stored, STB-based, subscription-based), into a single application to create a unified network of entertainment services. This further extends the seamless, unified experience for guests to access the various forms of content, regardless of the device used, for as long as they are connected to the hotel's WiFi network.
