Turi Beach Resort Awarded As “The Best Resort “ 2014
Turi Beach Resort is honored to be among the winners of the prestigious "Anugrah Insan Pariwisata Batam 2014" or Batam Hospitality Award 2014 organized by Batam Tourism Office. It competed against a number of hospitality industries in the island to achieve this accolade, which was awarded to Turi Beach Resort as "The Best Resort in Batam 2014".

The awards were announced at a high profile gala and presentation dinner at the Swiss-Bell Harbour Bay on 31st August 2014. Batam Mayor Mr. Ahmad Dahlan said, the award is the commitment of the Government of Batam in building tourism industry. The growth of the tourism industry in Batam quite well evidenced by the numbers of tourists visiting the area to be placed in level three in Indonesia, although the length of stay of the tourists still a major obstacle.
Meanwhile, Head of Tourism Batam, Mr. Yusfa Hendri said the Batam tourism industry is expected to continue to grow and move forward. Mr. Sumantri Endang as the General Manager of Turi Beach Resort receives the award witnessed by Board of Director of Nongsa Resorts and management of Turi Beach Resort.
"Anugrah Insan Pariwisata Batam 2014" or Batam Hospitality Award 2014 is organized by Batam Tourism Office every two years. The award winners' logo is recognised as a symbol of excellence in hospitality in island of Batam. There are 12 award nominations given to the tourism industry providers such as transportation, travel agents, hotel, resort, entertainment services, golf, shopping centres, spa and other tourism players.
