Different and exciting: More than French fries, chocolate and beer? But of course! The opening of the NEW pentahotel Liège now also delivers a convincing style statement. On 5th January 2015, the penta-style arrived at the former Hotel Mercure Liège Centre. The young neighbourhood lifestyle brand has transformed the 105-room hotel into a new hotel hotspot after a modernisation of 6 months.

Boulevards for a good shopping trip or the "Le Carré" neighbourhood with countless cafés and bars are just within a stone's throw of pentahotel Liège. So if you are keen on discovering the delights of Liège, check in at the pentahotel and enjoy the hotel's innovative concept.

Billiard table, Sony PlayStation or charging stations for mobile devices: the penta concept is different – because the pentalounge, which is the centrepiece of every pentahotel, comes with an anti-boredom guarantee. Designed by top architect Mattheo Thun, the pentalounge is less of a sterile lobby and more of a cool club that transforms from a relaxing meeting place by day to a fashionable lounge at night.

Even on arrival, guests can see that there's something different about penta. Forget the conventional, it says, because here you can check in at the bar. Grab your room key and enjoy a relaxing drink. Amenities such as free WiFi access throughout the hotel, 42-inch flat screen TVs in every room, free Pay TV including the latest blockbusters on demand as well as a range of premium sports channels are standard.

The European hotel chain pentahotels is on the path to further expansion and pursues its growth strategy with this opening. By the end of 2014 the brand portfolio is scheduled to expand to 5,000 rooms.
