ROCKVILLE, Md. – Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), one of the world's largest hotel companies, has converted the former MileNorth Hotel in Chicago into the Cambria Chicago Magnificent Mile. The partnership with Fillmore Capital Partners and Fillmore Hospitality marks the brand's first official conversion as part of a strategy to bring hotels to market quickly based on strong consumer demand.

Located at 166 East Superior Street, the 215-room and 29-story Cambria Chicago Magnificent Mile sits between Chicago's Magnificent Mile and the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan. The city is home to a number of Fortune 500 companies headquartered in the region and the largest convention center in the nation, boasting a robust meetings and conventions industry. Guests traveling on leisure will be able to take advantage of the many attractions the area offers, including nearby Millennium Park, the John Hancock Center, Skydeck Chicago and the Chicago Riverwalk.

The Cambria Chicago Magnificent Mile property is located in the sought-after Streeterville neighborhood, within walking distance of Grant, Millennium and Lincoln Parks. The hotel also features one of the highest rooftop lounges in the city, 52Eighty, and just under 4,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.

The Cambria Chicago Magnificent Mile hotel is one of two Cambria hotels & suites that will open in the city. The Chicago – City Center property will be located above the historic Ford Center for the Performing Arts Oriental Theatre at 24 West Randolph Street, and is slated to open in late 2017.
