Bookings rise for Peru’s most influential hotel chain following SiteMinder deal
Online bookings have risen 25 percent for Peru's largest and most influential hotel chain, Casa Andina, only months since rolling out enterprise distribution technology from the global hotel industry's leading cloud platform, SiteMinder.
The reported success signifies the latest milestone for SiteMinder in Latin America, where the company has cemented its rapidly-growing position as one of the region's trusted providers of best-in-class hotel technology.
"All of us at Casa Andina know that our hotels are not just properties, they are a window to our country of Peru. To remain competitive in the local tourism sector, a key strategy for us is to constantly improve but also maintain the traditional values our business began with," says Juan Stoessel, CEO of Casa Andina.
"As part of our commitment to reach guests in all corners of the world, we know we need technology and we have made the decision to use SiteMinder's for its simplicity, practicality, efficiency and ability to work in real-time. SiteMinder's hotel solutions have made it easier for our hotel business to manage all reservations, the rooms of each of our properties, and the service we offer to our guests. Without a doubt, SiteMinder is a partner that has exceeded our expectations with reservations already up 25 percent."
Casa Andina is the undisputed leader in the Peruvian hotel market with more than 2,200 rooms in 29 hotels spread over 18 different destinations throughout the country. The hotel chain, which this year celebrates its 15th year in business, has announced plans to expand to 22 destinations by the end of 2020 with 38 hotels designed for guest comfort.
"Growing within the Peruvian market beside the country's most important hotel chain is an honor and joy for us at SiteMinder. In addition to its purpose of making every trip to Peru exceed all expectations, Casa Andina's success has been built on one key objective: to make the guest experience unique, personal and unrepeatable. We are delighted they now have the necessary technology to fulfill those goals and that we can be a part of their journey," says Rubí Pérez, Director – LATAM at SiteMinder.
