HFTP and AAHOA Partner to Support Each Association’s Initiatives
The agreement connects the associations, promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing between the two, helping to advance the overall hospitality industry.
Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) and the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) have partnered with an allied agreement, connecting the two leading hospitality associations. Both HFTP and AAHOA have a shared interest in advancing the hospitality environment to the benefit of their members and the overall industry. The groups, who have long supported each other, will promote and have a presence at each association’s events, offer collaborative benefits to young professional members and more.
“I have great admiration for AAHOA and the initiatives it takes on; and since both our association networks overlap as do our foundational strategic goals, it only makes sense to work together,” said HFTP CEO Frank Wolfe, CAE, FIH. “Through our associations’ strategic alliance, we are facilitating the exchange of the best industry ideas and practices through the synergies of our respective young professionals.”
"Just like AAHOA, HFTP exists to help its members better understand the industry's pressing issues and assists its stakeholders in finding solutions to their challenges more efficiently," said Neal Patel, AAHOA Chairman and HITEC North America Advisory Council member for the last five years. "Our longstanding partnership with HFTP helps AAHOA elevate the ways we not only serve and connect our young professional hoteliers, but also our entire membership, and this strategic decision to align with HFTP to offer even more resources to our membership is a win-win for both organizations."
A new collaboration between the associations is sharing resources for young professional members. AAHOA young professional members will have the opportunity to take advantage of a complimentary one-year HFTP membership. To celebrate this offer, AAHOA and HFTP are hosting the HITEC YP Networking Event on Tuesday, June 28 at Tin Roof Orlando from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sponsored by Aimbridge Hospitality, the event is part of HITEC Orlando and is an exclusive networking event for HITEC attendees 35 and under.
Celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2022, HITEC North America will take place on June 27–30 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida USA. HITEC is the world's largest hospitality technology exposition and conference. It offers a unique combination of top-notch hospitality technology education, led by industry peers and experts, and an unparalleled trade show showcasing the latest hospitality technology products and services.
As part of the HFTP and AAHOA agreement, the associations will work together on other projects that will benefit both organizations’ members. AAHOA will be at HITEC, with representatives onsite at booth #2704.
