Berlin – With the acquisition of the successful Mercure Hotel Berlin Mitte, the hotel operating company Primestar expands its hotel portfolio in the German capital to 3 hotels. The hotel with 120 rooms near Potsdamer Platz and Gleisdreieck is the first joint franchise project with Accor and the first hotel of the Primestar Group operated under Mercure brand.

Primestar Group, which is also headquartered in Berlin, already operates another franchise hotel in Berlin (Hampton by Hilton Berlin City Centre Alexanderplatz) as well as the recently opened June Six Hotel Berlin City West, the flagship hotel of its own boutique brand June Six Hotels.

At the Mercure Hotel Berlin Mitte, guests have access to a full range of services, including free high-speed Wi-Fi, satellite/cable TV and coffee/tea-making facilities in every room. The hotel also offers guests a restaurant, bar and a meeting room.

The Mercure Hotel Berlin Mitte expands the Primestar Group's franchise hotel portfolio to 15 hotels with a total of 3,454 rooms in German A-locations.
