Chicago, IL - Cloud5 Communications, a leading provider of communications and technology solutions for more than 5,000 hotels, MDUs, and commercial facilities across the Americas, has today announced the appointment of hospitality technology sales veteran, Mark Speck, as Vice President of Sales and Commercial Development.

In his new role, Speck will help Cloud5 further position itself as the go-to market leader with deep hospitality expertise as he works to expand Cloud5’s solution set into new brands and companies and leads the coaching and development of Cloud5’s sales organization.

Speck brings more than 30 years of professional sales experience to his new role, including 25 years specializing in hospitality technology. Prior to joining Cloud5, Speck served as Vice President of Sales- North America for Infor Hospitality, a position he held for 12 years. While in this position, he is credited with generating 1,200%+ growth in top line revenue and has been the recipient of multiple Infor Circle of Excellence Awards. Prior to advancing into this role, Speck served as a Senior Account Executive at Infor Hospitality, first selling into global brands and then transitioning into hospitality where he spent the next nine years and was a 7-time recipient of the company’s sales club award.
