London, UK - Festival season continues to bring the heat following IHG Hotels & Resorts’ successful partnerships with some of this summer’s hottest music festivals, including The Governors Ball and Lollapalooza in the U.S., and most recently Wilderness in the U.K. IHG is making festival weekends unforgettable for IHG One Rewards members and festivalgoers alike, bringing exceptional care and unexpected memorable experiences.

At the recently wrapped Wilderness in the UK, IHG Hotels & Resorts was this year’s Boutique Camping Partner, creating spaces for campers to be cared for and have an elevated experience. Taking over the Boutique Camping Pamper Parlour, IHG brought Kimpton’s iconic ‘Forgot It, We’ve Got It’ to life with items curated for campers in need.

IHG Hotels & Resorts also created a festival first with its pop-up hotel - The IHG Hotel in the Wild - an unexpected, whimsical, and inviting space where Wilderness festivalgoers were welcomed to be themselves and be cared for by IHG. The IHG Hotel in the Wild was filled with all the things guests know and love about a hotel, from a hotel bed amongst the trees and a bathtub basking in florals, to a library under an oak tree and a piano lounge bar, there was truly something for everyone to enjoy.

Acts such as the legendary Kimmy Beatbox and award-winning pianist Nathan Britton delivered storming sets that brought the hotel alive and had festivalgoers queueing up to get into the IHG Hotels & Resorts area. A star-studded line up of guests visited the hotel including Marvel star Zawe Ashton, model new-mum Daisy Lowe and This Morning’s Josie Gibson and Lisa Snowdon amongst others.

At IHG Hotels & Resorts, we are exploring unexpected and meaningful ways we can show up and care for people and let them be themselves. The IHG Hotel in the Wild is a prime example of one of these new avenues and we are only getting started. Like travel, music brings people together and helps us create lasting connections with others and we are proud to have created a space at Wilderness for festivalgoers to form these meaningful relationships. Connor Smith, Vice President of Masterbrand Strategy and Awareness for IHG
