Driftwood Hospitality Management Assumes Management for Hilton Garden Inn’s 1000th Property
The property marks Driftwood Hospitality Management’s continued expansion into the international market
Driftwood Hospitality Management (DHM) announces it has assumed management operations and responsibilities for the Hilton Garden Inn San José City Mall, a 149-key hotel in Alajuela, Costa Rica, just outside the country’s capital of San José. Serving as Hilton Garden Inn’s 1000th property worldwide, the hotel is DHM’s second international property. As part of the strategic portfolio addition, DHM will embark on a comprehensive management strategy to maintain and improve the overall guest experience throughout the property, which opened this January.

Built in 2023, the Hilton Garden Inn San José City Mall is located adjacent to City Mall Alajuela on Francisco J. Orlich Road. A three-minute drive from SJO International Airport, the hotel features a variety of on-site amenities including a restaurant, outdoor pool, fitness center, a bar lounge and much more. It is also near shopping destinations and attractions, serving business and leisure travelers alike.
