Revinate strengthens Senior GTM Leadership to accelerate growth on a global scale
Doug Tilford joins as the Chief Revenue Officer; Karen Stephens moves to Chief Marketing Officer
PALO ALTO, US — Revinate, a global leader in hospitality technology, announces two appointments to its senior leadership team. Karen Stephens, Revinate’s current Chief Revenue Officer, will be the new Chief Marketing Officer. Doug Tilford joins the team as the new Chief Revenue Officer.
These appointments follow Revinate’s recent announcement of Bryson Koehler as the new CEO and Marc Heyneker as Chairman of the Board.
Bryson Koehler, CEO of Revinate, said, “I joined Revinate with a clear mission to be the tech partner that hoteliers around the world need to deliver unforgettable experiences for their guests’ omnichannel experience. Revinate just had a record Q4 — driving forward with tremendous pace. Stephens and Tilford will be the partners I need around the table as we announce more exciting products. Together, we lead a passionate, driven team towards a true transformation of the hospitality industry.” Both Doug Tilford and Karen Stephens will report to Bryson Koehler directly.
Doug Tilford is a highly experienced global revenue leader and has driven scaled growth throughout his career. He is no stranger to Revinate, having served as a go-to-market leadership consultant for the last two years. TIlford mentored Revinate sales leaders to refine sales execution and go-to-market strategies. As the Chief Revenue Officer, Tilford will lead Sales, Customer Success, Enablement teams, as well as sales operations to drive continued growth across all product lines. Tilford’s background includes his role as the Global SVP of Sales and Channels at Mavenlink Technologies (now Kantata). Prior to that, he spent 16 years at Akamai Technologies where he was instrumental in increasing the company’s revenue from $30 million to more than $2 billion as both the SVP of Americas Sales and SVP/GM of EMEA.
With her move to Chief Marketing Officer, Karen Stephens will focus on driving long-term growth for Revinate by building its brand equity, product marketing, and customer acquisition strategies. As the company evangelist, she will highlight the significance of building direct relationships with hotel guests. Her deep connections with industry leaders will play a key role in crafting strategic partnerships. Stephens brings 11 years of experience leading Revinate’s global GTM teams, and more than 25 years of expertise in global hospitality technology and distribution solutions — including managing global accounts in travel and hospitality organizations such as Travelocity.
Affirming her excitement about the appointment, Stephens said, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to leverage my thorough understanding of our customers and the overall hospitality landscape to facilitate long-term, hyperscale growth for Revinate. I strongly believe Revinate has a key role to play and the hospitality industry will benefit massively from our technology and solutions. Partnering with Tilford and Koehler on this mission is a natural step forward that I couldn’t be more excited about.”
Tilford said, “Revinate is poised for expansion worldwide. We have the team, the energy, the determination, and most importantly, the products, and AI powered data platforms as we reach hoteliers across the globe. I’m intrinsically connected with Revinate’s internal strategies and go-to-market frameworks, and I look forward to working with Stephens, Koehler, and the entire Revinate team to scale our operations and put the power back into the hands of hard-working hotel operators.”
