Countries with the most number of reservation days for French regions during the Olympics

Benefits for the community

According to a study by Deloitte[5] , the average host in the Paris area is expected to earn €2,000 (over $2,170 USD) by hosting an Airbnb accommodation during the 2024 Paris Olympics, generating a total economic impact of €1 billion (over $1 billion USD) and creating nearly 7,300 full-time equivalent jobs in France.

Many French families have joined Airbnb's platform to take advantage of this opportunity, with the Paris area alone seeing a 40% increase in listings in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.

Airbnb will play a key role in accommodating the increasing number of visitors during the Olympic Games, providing a variety of affordable accommodation options and supporting the overall economic growth of regions that have so far been underserved by tourism. Clement Eulry, Airbnb Country Manager for France and Belgium
