The integration allows reservations made in Meetingmax to automatically sync to Sabre GDS, thereby uploading into a hotel property's Centralized Reservation System (CRS) or Property Management System (PMS). By streamlining the process, this innovative solution enhances the security, accuracy, and speed of transferring reservation data, helps to eliminate manual labour, and reduces the margin for error.

Meetingmax elected to integrate with the Sabre GDS because, regardless of the CRS or PMS that hotels use, this solution is universally compatible as long as hoteliers utilize Sabre GDS.

How It Works

Traditionally, hoteliers receive group reservations through rooming lists, either directly from the event planner or by downloading the report through housing software. This new functionality empowers hotel partners to eliminate the process of pulling reservations or rooming lists from the Meetingmax platform. Instead, properties need only to load their rate codes from the CRS or PMS into the Sabre GDS, making them visible to Meetingmax. This connection allows Meetingmax to seamlessly push reservations to the hotel, automatically attaching them to the group code created for each specific block of rooms.

Once a reservation is made, the integration ensures that data is transferred to the hotel in real-time, returning a confirmation number to Meetingmax. This means reservations move quickly from “New” to “Accepted” status, dramatically improving the efficiency of managing group bookings.
