Radisson Hotel Group announces an important new dual signing in Phuket that will introduce Radisson and Radisson Blu branded resorts to Layan Beach, a beautiful stretch of sand on this idyllic island’s sunset coast. The launch of Radisson Resort Layan Phuket and Radisson Blu Resort, Layan Phuket will introduce a total of 812 rooms & suites and fantastic facilities to this tropical paradise under two distinct brands, reaffirming the Group’s commitment to the future of Thailand’s hospitality industry.

One of Asia’s most popular resort destinations, Phuket is expected to exceed 14 million international arrivals¹ in 2024. The majority of visitors are attracted to the island’s spectacular west coast, which is lined with a string of crescent-shaped sandy bays and gently lapped by the azure Andaman Sea. Nestled at the northern end of Bangtao Bay, close to Sirinat National Park, surrounded by a wealth of activities and attractions, and only 30 minutes' drive from Phuket International Airport, Layan Beach is at the heart of Phuket’s tourism boom.

Set to open by Q4 2026, Radisson Resort Layan Phuket will empower guests to enjoy “Simply Delightful” stays, in line with this iconic upscale brand’s philosophy. Perfectly positioned just seven minutes’ walk from the beach, the hotel will offer 500 bright and contemporary rooms & suites, including options with two or three bedrooms, making it ideal for couples, families and friends alike. Holidaymakers will be able to unwind in two outdoor swimming pools, including a kids’ pool, work out at the gym, shop at a retail outlet, dine at a choice of two restaurants, or chill out at the pool bar.

The 312-key Radisson Blu Resort, Layan Phuket will make its debut by Q1 2025. Discerning travellers will be able to “Feel the Difference” with a choice of 281 stylish rooms and 31 spacious two or three bedroom suites. Premium facilities will include two restaurants, three bars (including a swim-up pool bar), a spa, fitness centre, kids’ club, and a 230-square metre meeting room. Situated adjacent to Radisson Resort Layan Phuket, this resort will also be just seven minutes’ walk from the soft sands of Layan Beach.

Both of these exceptional hotels will be underpinned by the brand promise that “Every Moment Matters” and signature “Yes I Can!” service philosophy. The +20 million members of the Radisson Rewards loyalty program will be able to enjoy a range of benefits and the opportunity to earn points, and all guests can rest assured that Radisson Hotel Group is fully committed to sustainability, with the overarching goal of achieving net zero operations by 2050.
