ISTANBUL & McLEAN, VaHilton (NYSE: HLT) has announced plans to expand its presence in Türkiye to more than 120 hotels trading and pipeline, with the signing of 10 new hotels across 4 of its award-winning brands – DoubleTree by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton – adding more than 1,000 guest rooms.

We have more than doubled our presence in Türkiye over the last 10 years and continue to see tremendous opportunity to grow our portfolio. With this latest announcement, an additional 1,000 rooms will be available for travellers in Türkiye through expanding our focused service offering with eight new signings across our Hampton by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn brands, as well as introducing DoubleTree by Hilton to Sarikamis and Tapestry Collection by Hilton to Bodrum. Bodrum Eskicesme, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Following the signing of an agreement with Sumka Gayrimenkul Yatirim Gelistirme AS, Bodrum Eskicesme, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is due to open in May 2026 and will mark Hilton’s fourth property in Bodrum, one of Türkiye's most sought-after holiday destinations on the southwestern coast. Located in the scenic Bitez area, just a 15-minute drive from Bodrum city center, the resort will offer 55 rooms, including eight suites. Guests can enjoy a variety of dining options, with the main restaurant also featuring outdoor seating, as well as a pool bar, beach bar, and lobby bar. Amenities include a fitness center, spa, a main pool, a dedicated kids' pool, and five plunge pools, providing a relaxing stay for all guests.

DoubleTree by Hilton Kars Sarikamis

Set to open in the coming months, DoubleTree by Hilton Kars Sarikamis will be Hilton's first ski resort in Türkiye, under an agreement with Faras Insaat Yapı Sanayii Ticaret Limited Sirketi. The hotel will offer 84 guest rooms, including 18 suites, blending comfort and style for guests. Designed for relaxation and après-ski enjoyment, the lobby bar, restaurant, and fitness center are complemented by a health club featuring an indoor pool, a traditional Turkish bath and treatment rooms. Guests can also make use of the game room and the on-site ski equipment rental room, for added convenience during their visit. The hotel places guests close to exceptional skiing in Sarikamis, with visitors able to walk to the ski lift as well as head straight down the slopes to the entrance of the hotel. Sarikamis, known for its heavy snowfall from December through April, offers a rare skiing experience on natural powder "crystal snow," typically found only in the Alps, with seven ski slopes and 25 kilometers of trails for skiers to explore.

Further growth for Hilton’s focused service brands across Türkiye

Within the next three years, Hilton’s focused service portfolio will expand in Türkiye with eight new properties due to open throughout the region, with each marking the first Hilton in their respective regions:

  • Hampton by Hilton Izmir Bornova will feature 185 rooms and is expected to open in 2025 and will be located close to the main link road between Izmir’s coastline to the rest of the city.
  • Hilton Garden Inn Bitlis, located steps away from Bitlis Castle, is scheduled to open in spring 2026, featuring 112 guest rooms, a restaurant, a bar, a fitness centre, and two meeting rooms.
  • Hilton Garden Inn Tarsus will be Hilton’s first property in the ancient city. The hotel will offer 170 rooms, providing guests with access to a breakfast area, bar, an outdoor dining terrace with bar, four meeting rooms, and a gym. This property is expected to open in 2026.
  • Hilton Garden Inn Pendik is set to open in 2026, located within Türkiye’s largest metropolitan city. The hotel will feature 136 guest rooms, an all-day dining area, lobby bar, a fitness centre, and six meeting rooms.
  • Hilton Garden Inn Antalya will be in the Aksu region of Antalya and is expected to welcome guests in 2026. The property will include 116 rooms, a lounge, a restaurant, a bar, a fitness centre, and two meeting rooms. Additional amenities will feature a main pool area, a dedicated children’s pool, and a children’s play area.
  • Hampton by Hilton Düzce is scheduled for a 2026 opening, offering 120 guest rooms. Conveniently located a five-minute drive from the city centre, the hotel will include two meeting rooms, a fitness centre, and complimentary hot breakfast for guests.
  • Hilton Garden Inn Torbali – set to open in 2027 and located near to the ancient city of Metropolis, the property will offer 128 rooms, a bar and fitness centre.
  • Hilton Garden Inn Adiyaman will offer 120 guest rooms alongside 38 extended-stay rooms, complemented by four meeting rooms and a fitness centre. The property is due to open for guests in 2027.

Each hotel, catering to both business and leisure travelers, will feature well-designed accommodation and amenities that reflect the distinctive service standards of these two Hilton brands. These new signings will build on the 38 focused service Hilton properties that are currently trading across Türkiye.

2025 - A Milestone Year for Hilton in Türkiye

2025 will mark seven decades of Hilton operating in Türkiye. In addition to the ten new signings across the country, Hilton’s flagship brand will also bolster its presence in this sought-after destination. Hilton Hotels & Resorts will build on its role opening the first airport hotel with the debut of Hilton Istanbul Airport in summer 2025 as it continues to elevate and innovate the airport hotel stay.

Additionally, the iconic Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus hotel is currently undergoing a major renovation, with the pool area and many of the new-look guest rooms already available to guests ahead of full completion next year.
