London – Mövenpick, the brand synonymous with Swiss hospitality and culinary excellence, today announced the upcoming opening of Mövenpick Grand Hotel Wrocław and Mövenpick Resort & Spa Karpacz, the brand’s first hotels in Poland, which are both slated to open later this month. The latest additions build on the brand’s expansion trajectory across Europe, with other recent entries in Belgium and Azerbaijan, as well as upcoming debuts in Italy (Bari and Mondello), Greece (Sivota) and Montenegro (Kotor) later this year.

Located in the heart of Wrocław, Poland’s third largest city with rich history, culture and innovation, Mövenpick Grand Hotel Wrocław is situated in a fully renovated historic building and features 180 upscale guest rooms and amenities for a relaxing break in the city. Guests can savour modern takes on traditional Polish cuisine at the on-site restaurant and bar, relax on the hotel’s terrace, or unwind in the dedicated wellness area. The 126-room resort provides convenient access to the nearby ski station and scenic hiking trails. Facilities include heated outdoor swimming pools surrounded by lush greenery, and a wellness area with a spacious spa and eight treatment rooms. Guest can explore the nearby surroundings from the majestic peaks of the Karkonosze mountain range to the tranquil beauty of the Łomnica River valley, making it an ideal year-round destination.

  • Mövenpick Hotel Winter Park Baku (Azerbaijan) – Opened in November 2024 as the first Mövenpick in Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus region, the new hotel offers 172 elegant rooms in the capital’s city centre. Guests can enjoy convenient access to the Winter Park area, shopping and business hubs, as well as the Walled City of Baku, also known as the Old Town, renowned for its historic buildings and mosques.
  • Mövenpick Hotel Brussels Airport (Belgium) – This remarkable new hotel, and first Mövenpick property in Belgium, is located moments away from Zaventem airport, the perfect location for those stopping in the capital. The hotel offers 103 comfortable rooms and complimentary access to a sauna and hammam. Named after Belgium’s famous surrealist painter Rene Magritte, the hotel’s restaurant concept celebrates Mövenpick’s culinary heritage, with seasonal menus paired with an extensive list of local wines.
  • Mövenpick Hotel Sarajevo (Bosnia & Herzegovina) – Located at the heart of the city with easy access to both the financial district and the old town, the hotel offers 186 comfortable rooms, an indoor pool, a fitness room, a business centre and a brasserie serving an exquisite mix of traditional and international cuisine.

Additional upcoming openings in 2025 include:

  • Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Kvarner Bay (Croatia) – With 14,000 square metres of wellness facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools, and 23 treatment rooms, with 199 hotel rooms and 304 residences the resort will be one of the finest beach and spa destinations on the Northern Adriatic coast. Guests will be able to enjoy culinary offerings from five restaurants and bars, catering to all preferences. The hotel will also offer 2,600 square metres of modern event and conferencing facilities, as well as its own retail gallery. The hotel is slated to open in the second half of 2025.
  • Mövenpick Resort Agios Nikolaos Sivota (Greece) –Located in a picturesque waterfront village with beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters, this new 67-room resort will debut in Greece in Spring 2025, offering a tranquil hideaway by the sea. Guests will be able to visit several nearby UNESCO World Heritage sites, including Zagori, Nikolpolis, and Corfu, as well as explore historical towns such as Ioannina and Parga.
  • Mövenpick Hotel Bari (Italy) – Nestled in a historic building overlooking Bari’s old town centre and the Adriatic Sea, this new hotel will provide an ideal base for exploring the city’s main attractions. Slated to welcome guests from May 2025, the hotel will feature 180 well-appointed rooms and suites, a modern spa and a lively restaurant serving authentic delicacies.
  • Mövenpick Hotel Mondello Palace Palermo (Italy) – Expected to open in September 2025, this hotel is situated within a historic building that serves as a landmark in Mondello’s coastal district. The 80-room hotel will be located just steps from the famous Mondello beach and only seven kilometres from the lively city of Palermo, granting guests access to beautiful natural landscapes, cultural treasures and generous hospitality experience.
  • Mövenpick Hotel Teuta Kotor Bay (Montenegro) – Featuring 83 elegant rooms overlooking the sandy shores of Kotor Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, this hotel, which is slated to open in May 2025, will offer spectacular sea and mountain views and will be the perfect sport for those seeking rest and relaxation, as well as those interested in history or adventure in the nearby mountains.
  • Mövenpick Hotel Budapest Centre (Hungary) – Set in a famous Art Nouveau building in the heart of Budapest, this hotel will reopen in 2025 following an extensive renovation project.
