Danbury, Conn. - A Meyer Jabara Hotel’s long-term owned asset, the Admiral Fell Inn, is undergoing a multimillion dollar transformation. Opening in Spring 2025 and rebranded as The William Fell, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, the historic waterfront hotel sits right on Fells Point Square and boasts waterfront views of Baltimore's Harbor, making it the best location in the city. Repositioning of this legacy asset is expected to make The William Fell the quintessential market-leading powerhouse in Fells Point. This is MJH’s third owned asset in Baltimore, its fifth managed property in Maryland, and the first Tapestry Collection conversion in its portfolio. A grand opening is planned for April 2025.

We are delighted to be adding Hilton’s Tapestry Collection of independent hotels to the Meyer Jabara Hotels portfolio. Formerly the Admiral Fell Inn, The William Fell is an irreplaceable asset in a truly special neighborhood, and it is surrounded by pubs, restaurants, shops, and coffee bars all along the scenic waterfront. Due to our multigenerational relationship with Hilton, and because this is one of our prime assets, reinvesting in the infrastructure and design of this hotel just makes sense. Not only are we supporting a great brand partner and the ongoing revitalization of Fells Point’s commercial and historic districts (including the Broadway corridor), but we are giving our guests an authentic connection to Baltimore and a local adventure with every personalized stay. Justin Jabara, Meyer Jabara Hotels president

Connecting Guests to the Destination

RD Jones + Associates will bring the interior design of the hotel to the present day, while the exterior brick structure from the 1700s will remain the same. Sleek lobby updates will include local nautical-themed art, a coffee area on the first floor, a fitness center with a courtyard, a fifth-floor meeting space, and boardroom surrounded by a wraparound terrace. Guests can choose from two-bed queen rooms, distinctive suites with dedicated sitting areas, and private balcony rooms that overlook the iconic Thames Street, offering a front-row seat to the vibrant heartbeat of the neighborhood. All rooms are tranquil with refined details that evoke luxury and a connection to the hotel’s waterfront surroundings. Paintings, sculptures, and photography by local artists will also be featured throughout all areas of the hotel.

The hotel is named after William Fell, the first settler of Fells Point, who built the area's first colonial home and established its inaugural shipyard. Fell’s contributions helped lay the foundation for the thriving shipping hub that Baltimore is renowned for today. Boasting waterfront views of Baltimore's Inner Harbor, the hotel stands out for its exceptional accessibility. It offers more than just a place to stay — it invites visitors to become part of a story rich in history, culture, and community. With its prime location, guests can effortlessly explore the city’s most celebrated restaurants, local gems, and scenic waterfront. The William Fell promises an experience where thoughtful design, personalized service, and a sense of connection ensure every stay is memorable.

Meyer Jabara Hotels owns and operates assets across many segments, from luxury and full service to select service, extended stay, and boutique, Jabara said. With this extensive renovation and Hilton rebranding, The William Fell will be a crown jewel in our boutique portfolio and in the Fells Point neighborhood. We are eager to introduce this property – with its new culinary offering and highest level of service – to historic southeastern Baltimore.
