Washington State University (WSU)

School of Hospitality Business Management

The WSU School of Hospitality Business Management (HBM) program began more than 65 years ago. Our alumni live and work around the globe. As part of the WSU College of Business and Economics, our certified majors enjoy the many benefits of earning a four-year degree grounded in the disciplines of business management, accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, and more. We also offer a minor in hotel and restaurant administration. You will find HBM's success builds upon a sound foundation. Our faculty are personable educators with great mentoring skills. Our modern classroom facilities, special computer lab, and gourmet kitchen laboratory all contain state-of-the-art technology. HBM internship opportunities take students everywhere overseas from Norway to Guam to Korea and all over the United States from Alaska to Key West, Florida. These opportunities exist in luxury hotels, national chain restaurants, national parks, golf and country clubs, and cruise lines--from Disney World to the Grand Ole Opry. Student clubs offer you the chance to network with students and professionals who share your interests. And our program hosts the nation's most prestigious chain restaurant management conference and distinguished lecture series each year. CEOs and owners of the most successful, fun, and interesting restaurants come to campus to share their experiences with you.
