The Travel Foundation

The Travel Foundation is an independent charity that works with tourism companies and destination authorities to unlock the positive potential of tourism in destinations, creating better places to live, work and visit. We seek partners who share our vision and actively want to make a contribution towards changing tourism. We make a commitment to a small number of key destinations and work with stakeholders to understand the impacts of tourism. Our groundbreaking research report into the impacts of tourism in Cyprus can be downloaded at www.thetravelfoundation.org.uk/impact. This tailored approach involves bringing key stakeholders together using our excellent industry links. We develop sustainable tourism projects that show proven results and can be scaled up to be 'business as usual'​ for a destination or a tour operator.
