Send Them Home

The Send Them Home campaign rescues and repatriates Nigerian women trafficked to the UAE for sexual exploitation. Our mission is to provide emergency support to victims of sex trafficking and is funded entirely by public donations. We tell survivors stories to educate and raise awareness about the crime of sex trafficking, mobilise international action and disrupt the flow of vulnerable Nigerian woman to the United Arab Emirates. Send Them Home was founded by human rights campaigner Angus Thomas after a chance meeting with a young Nigerian woman in Dubai in 2019. She revealed that she had been tricked into accepting work as a housemaid in the UAE but immediately upon arrival was put to work as a bonded sex worker. The campaign has since rescued and repatriated numerous Nigerian and other West African sex trafficking victims.
