InterContinental Hotels Group Plc ousted Chief Executive Richard North and said it will seek someone with more experience managing global brands to run the world's largest hotel company as it changes strategy. The Windsor, England-based operator of half a million hotel rooms at chains such as Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza is seeking a new CEO to lead its transformation from a company that owns hotels to one that manages or franchises them. Last week, the company put 1.3 billion pounds ($2.3 billion) of hotels up for sale and reported a 63 percent gain in second-quarter profit.
