Just in time for its 20th anniversary, Hogatex is coming up with a new corporate identity.

The name "Hogatex" - originally deriving from the first letters of the terms Hotellerie (Hotels), Gastronomie (Catering Industry), completed by the suffix "tex" to create an eye-catcher - remains unchanged. What is brand new is the name's appearance. The new logo is a combined word and key mark. The key visual not only makes you think of a handwritten "h". Just use your imagination and you will certainly discover some scribbled legs, running forward in it. And "forward, upward" is the credo Hogatex has committed itself to.

The era of the blue-striped "hoga" with the grey "tex" is over. The new interpretation of the name focuses on the term "gate" contained in the company name Hogatex. The new claim sounds accordingly: "Gateway to success".

"The aim of our new corporate identity is to gain a more concise brand and market presence. What is more, the new logo stands for our goals and visions for the next years", says Eva Markowitz, Marketing Director of Hogatex.

Not only is "gateway" the door one passes through towards the guests, for instance. It also refers to the Internet access. And that clearly reveals Hogatex' goals in terms of software development for the following years: "The complete Hogatex product range will be available as a web-based application", explains Richard Kürzl, Managing Director of Hogatex. "Even our services will entirely comply with new technologies. Hogatex will line up not only as a software supplier for the hotel industry but will also manifest itself increasingly as an application service provider. The hotelier will benefit from new offers in terms of software and service, as well as progressive, attractive cost models."
