NORWALK, ® PCLN said today that it purchased the trademarks and registered Internet domain names of Lowestfare.com. Priceline.com said it is now making its Name Your Own Price(sm) services for airline tickets, hotel rooms, rental cars and vacation packages available to www.lowestfare.com visitors.

Like priceline.com, Lowestfare.com is one of the Internet's best-known discount travel brands. According to Neilsen Net Ratings, Lowestfare.com had 602,000 unique visitors in March 2002.

Vacation products previously marketed on the Lowestfare.com site will now be sold under the Maupintour Holding, LLC brands at .

Value and terms of the deal were not released.
