This year, the four-star Priest House Hotel has undergone a wealth of positive changes. Following the recent acquisition of the country house hotel by the owner of neighbouring Donnington Hall, the property has undergone a full refurbishment and implemented Guestline's award winning, fully integrated hospitality software.

Set in a converted mill tower and nestled on the banks of the River Trent, the 42 bedroomed hotel has opted for Guestline's cloud hosted Rezlynx property management system (PMS). They have also chosen Guestline's Distribution platform, EPoS, Online Booking Manager and Advanced Conference and Banqueting solutions to run their property and manage their bookings and events.

With the automatic connection and management of rates and availability to multiple channels, the Priest House Hotel can now set rate rules which adjust according to current occupancy levels and close out channels when necessary. The team used to have to flex them manually so this saves them time and eliminates errors and overbookings.

Kathryn Clift, Revenue Manager at The Priest House Hotel added, 'The hotel sale gave us the opportunity to review our current systems and as our old system was costly and not fully integrated, we decided to select a new system that represented value for money and would provide a clear ROI.

The Guestline system does everything we need out of a system and more! There was a clear project plan for the software delivery and installation with close communication every step of the way.

As all the systems are fully integrated all the different modules talk to each other, so we don't have to manually make adjustments - I can totally trust the system to update and reflect the latest bookings, availability and rates.

Although Donnington Hall and Priest House Hotel operate as separate businesses they will both use the systems to co-ordinate and sell their events. Donnington Hall host a number of large events such as conferences, weddings and dinners and Priest House stage events such as Christenings, weddings and Afternoon Tea. It was therefore imperative that they had an advanced conference and banqueting tool within their PMS to help them co-ordinate and manage events at both properties. The hotel uses the function sheets, contracts, invoices, stock sheets within their software to help co-ordinate all aspects of events at both properties.
