Umapped Showcases Enhanced Collaborative Functionality with ClientBase® Live Connect and Award-Winning Tour Operator &Beyond at Virtuoso Travel Week
Umapped brings suppliers, agencies, and travelers together, increasing profitablity and providing travelers with an engaging mobile experience
Attendees at next week's Virtuoso Travel Week will be introduced to the latest cutting-edge innovations from leading experiential travel itinerary management platform Umapped. The event, which takes place in Las Vegas from August 6th to 8th, is considered the equivalent of Paris Fashion Week or the Super Bowl but geared toward luxury travel.
Umapped will introduce enhanced B2B collaboration capabilities for TMCs and travel advisors. These enhancements include new integrations with Sabre and partnerships with some of the world's foremost luxury tour companies including &Beyond. Umapped is a Preferred Virtuoso Partner and currently working with over 100 Virtuoso members and suppliers around the world. The global platform is now available in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
The Umapped and ClientBase teams will be showcasing the LiveConnect functionality, a 2-way integration that enables agencies to seamlessly pass content in real-time from Umapped back to ClientBase. Umapped is the only itinerary platform to offer this capability in addition to syncing data from ClientBase. The company also recently announced a partnership with Sabre that includes a live integration to the Sabre GDS.
Julie Durham, Sabre, Director of Sales, CRM & Financial Management, explains, "Umapped's seamless connectivity with ClientBase ensures that agencies have a complete record of their client data for both marketing purposes and invoicing while providing their clients with a real-time, engaging itinerary experience. This exciting collaboration with Umapped is aligned with Sabre's ongoing commitment to providing end-to-end solutions for travel agencies' needs that deliver efficiency and increase profitability."
The integration of &Beyond itineraries is part of a new partnership between Umapped and Wetu, a content-rich digital itinerary tool that streamlines workflows for DMCs and Tour Operators. Travel companies using Wetu can now publish their itineraries to Umapped to take advantage of the collaborative features including real-time messaging with both travel advisors and travelers. &Beyond will be the first Wetu customer to launch with Umapped, and joins a host of other Preferred Virtuoso Tour Operators benefiting from the innovative platform including Alpine Adventures, Big Five Tours, Classic Vacations, Globus, Islands in the Sun and Travel2.
"The collaborative functionality in Umapped between suppliers, agencies, and travelers finally brings everyone together, increasing productivity and providing travelers with an engaging mobile experience, ultimately enabling additional revenue," said Joss Kent, CEO of &Beyond.
"The uptake by Virtuoso agencies and suppliers has been exciting and we are looking forward to connecting with everyone in Las Vegas," adds Lisa Israelovitch, Umapped's co-founder, and CEO.
Attendees at the 2016 Virtuoso Travel Week event are invited to meet with Umapped, ClientBase, and Sabre team members every day from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm in the Sabre Lounge in Van Gogh 1 at the Bellagio Hotel. Tour Operators and DMCs using Wetu can visit umapped.com to learn more and schedule a live demo.
