Vatel Spain and Meliá Hotels International Announce a Business Analytics & Hospitality Performance Programme
- The Business Analytics & Hospitality Performance programme will take place in Palma de Mallorca, and is the result of a partnership that aims to provide training in highly specialised analytical skills

Vatel Spain, the International School of Hospitality and Tourism, which has been training travel industry executives for more than 40 years, has announced the launch together with Meliá Hotels International of a specialist Business Analytics & Hospitality Performance programme to be ledby some of the finest professionals in the hotel and training industry. The programme aims to deliver the knowledge required to allow a comprehensive overview of the hotel business, to enhance awareness of business analytics, and also to opt for a position on an analyst internship in a major hotel company.
The Business Analytics & Hospitality Performance programme is adapted to European Higher Education Area standards and will be held in a traditional classroom format in Palma de Mallorca. It consists of 60 credits andwill last 9 months, with 540 hours of theory (with modules such as Business Intelligence, Performance Management, Predictive Analytics, etc.) and 700 hours of practical experience in MHI corporate offices supervised by Meliá team members.The internship placements will be in the Meliá Hotels International Management Control, Investment, Financial Analysis, Business Intelligence, Clustering and Digitalisation departments, among others. A unique opportunity to learn from some of the finest professionals in the hotel industry and also possibly earn an Excellence Scholarship and the possibility of permanent employment after completing the programme.

Open to anyone who meets the programme requirements regarding their education and work experience, the programme will be taught by an exceptional team of recognized and highly specialist experts who will pass on all of the knowledge currently existing on the subject in the hotel and tourism industry. The programme guarantees that participants will be able to learn in a real-world context through real case studies, also learning by doing and collaboratively, masterclasses with expert guests, and access to theoretical and practical learning resources available 24/7 on the online eMelia and eCornell by Meliá training platforms.

At the end of the programme students will obtain two official titles, one from Meliá Hotel International and the other from Vatel Spain, International School of Hospitality and Tourism.
