HITEC UPDATE: Stayflexi to Debut Revolutionary Magic Link Technology Which Enables Hotels to Automate 80% of Front Desk Operations
Magic Link is a short web URL uniquely generated for every booking to handle self-check-in, room upgrade requests, upsell offers, payments, and more
With the final countdown to HITEC 2022 officially underway, Stayflexi, the California-based hospitality technology provider, is gearing up to debut its latest innovation, Magic Link. Magic Link is a short web URL uniquely generated for every booking, without the need for a dedicated app. This new, revolutionary feature allows hotels to connect with their guests in real-time.
Magic Link takes care of self-check-in, room upgrade requests, upsell offers, payment processing, and any additional guest service requests. For ease of use, Magic Link loads on any mobile device without the need for a native app and can be made accessible throughout the entire booking cycle.
Upon booking their stay, guests will receive a prompt via email and SMS to open their hotel’s Magic Link and can perform the below actions without needing to call the front desk:
- Self Check-in
- Room upgrades
- Early check-in or late check-out
- Add-on purchases
- Make payments on balance due
- View their travel itinerary
“Magic Link can be accessed on any mobile browser and loads with impeccable speed,” explains Venkatatesh Sakamuri, CEO and Co-Founder of Stayflexi. “From a hotelier's perspective, Magic Link is an incredible way to automate front desk duties, maximize staff productivity, and appeal to guest demand for a contactless experience while seamlessly driving additional revenue. Traditionally, this was only available to hotels with the development of a native app, but now, enhanced mobile connectivity is truly accessible.”
One of the hotels leveraging Magic Link is Nap York, located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, which has seen great success implementing the new feature. “Nap York has automated 80% of their front desk operations with Magic Link. Now, guests can check-in online from their laptop or mobile device and get door lock access codes right away,” shares Sakamuri. “Soon, we will also be adding chat and service requests to the feature, and we are constantly innovating it to make it one connection point between the guest and hotel.”
HITEC attendees and media are invited to meet with the Stayflexi team and view Magic Link in action at booth #228, June 27th - 30th. To learn more about Stayflexi, visit business.stayflexi.com
