The Washington, D.C., chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International today invited hospitality professionals from throughout the metropolitan area to attend its annual State of the Industry program Aug. 22 at the Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf.

The program, designed to help area hospitality sales, marketing and revenue-management professionals prepare their plans and budgets for 2025, will feature Jessica Carey, Knowland vice president, customer operations; Chris Ely, Global Business Travel Association director, research; Michele Gordon, Amadeus vice president, sales – business intelligence; Robin McClain, Destination DC chief marketing officer; Adrienne Weil, American Hotel & Lodging Association senior vice president, member engagement & services; and Kristi White, Groups360 vice president, reporting, data & analytics.

The State of the Industry event will be hosted by Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf and cosponsored by Amadeus, AH&LA, Tambourine, Booking.com, Bridge Badge, Destination DC, GBTA, Knowland, Groups360 and RDR PR LLC. Zindash added that Bridge Badge will supply electronic badges to help attendees connect and network with industry colleagues.

Each attendee is asked to bring a new backpack appropriate for middle school for donation to at-risk DMV pupils who face returning to school without the necessary supplies.
