HITEC Orlando Starts Next Week - Here Are 5 Things You Don’t Want to Miss!
And how you can still get real-time updates if you aren't able to attend the event
In just over a week, the hospitality industry will descend upon Orlando, Florida, to partake in what has become – unequivocally – our industry’s biggest annual event: The Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC). A large-scale meeting of the minds and unparalleled networking opportunity, HITEC brings together the brightest minds and hottest technologies from across the globe in one place. The conference's goal is simple but impactful – provide hospitality leaders with a chance to not only celebrate the continued progress of our industry but to exchange ideas, network with like-minded professionals, embrace technological innovation, utilize world-class resources, and benefit from essential education and panels of industry experts.
This year also happens to be the 50th anniversary of HITEC and represents a critical moment for the industry. After two years of unprecedented challenges brought on by the pandemic, we have finally traversed into the post-pandemic landscape. Collectively, we find ourselves in a period of long-awaited recovery and rejuvenation. Our industry’s post-pandemic success will be largely informed by the digital innovation showcased in Orlando from July 27th to 30th. While our anticipation for the annual event grows with each passing day, here are five things you don’t want to miss while attending HITEC 2022.
1. Opening Party & Fundraiser
In true Orlando fashion, the Opening Party for HITEC 2022 promises to make a splash among attendees. Presented by VENZA and CyberTek, the party will be at SeaWorld Orlando on June 27, 2022, from 6:00 — 11:00 p.m., with ticket proceeds directed towards hospitality scholarships.
The highly anticipated party will grant attendees access to park attractions, a private Dolphin Adventures Show, the Electric Ocean: Ignite fireworks and light show, and one-hour exclusive ride time at the end of the evening. Other sponsors of the opening party include Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), the producers of HITEC, TraknProtect, and Stayflexi.
2. Your Chance to Be Featured on the Modern Hoteliers Podcast (Live!)
The Modern Hotelier podcast, presented by Stayflexi, is a highly regarded industry podcast hosted by Stayflexi’s own Steve Carran and industry veteran David Millili.
