Palihouse Hyde Park Village

Avi Brosh's Palisociety has announced the opening of Palihouse Hyde Park Village, the first hotel in the rapidly expanding area and the brand's debut foray into Tampa, marking its fifth opening of 2023.

Located on a tree-lined street within the upscale Hyde Park neighborhood, in the heart of historic Tampa, Palihouse Hyde Park Village is a 36-guest room hideaway cloaked in European-inspired style with a considerable dose of Palisociety's signature, irreverent design layered throughout. As the first hotel in the newly developed area that features brick walkways and majestic oak trees alongside premier retail shops, juiceries, coffee shops and a weekly farmer's market, Palihouse Hyde Park anchors the area with its intimate, highly detailed experience and aesthetic.

Guests are welcomed into a private entrance area paved with terrazzo checkerboard flooring that anchors a grand, white oak wood-ensconced staircase surrounding a handmade amber glass, three-tier chandelier. The staircase leads you to the hotel's check in, The Lobby Bar, and guest rooms, all situated on the second floor above street level. The design evokes a highly curated interpretation of Palisociety style with walls adorned in pale celery green and light, wood paneling, hand-selected design elements including an extensive collection of framed Hermès scarves, vintage artwork, Palisociety "P" signature pieces and a layered, comfortable mix of patterns, textiles and antique furniture and accessories that is synonymous with the brand's eponymous sense of place.

The hotel will play host with a second-level lobby lounge, café and bar offering an all-day dining menu including Palisociety favorites such as lobster tacos, a classic burger, gin-marinated olives and a Paliclub, as well as specialty coffee and espresso, classic cocktails, beer and wine. The generously sized guest rooms, also situated on the hotel's second story, feature kitchenettes equipped with Smeg mini fridges, custom dining tables, gallery art walls, brass Waterworks fixtures, and bespoke library seating in most rooms. Guests enjoy Palisociety staples including Diptyque bath amenities, Bellino fine linens. Nespresso coffee machines and carefully curated mini bars, stocked with a premium assortment of snacks and libations. Walls are awash in a soft celery green color counterbalanced with wood furnishings, a mix of vintage and custom pieces, and beloved brand touches including personally selected artwork, Palisociety "P" throw pillows, curtain adorned kitchenette cupboards, and more. The overall impression is one that honors Florida's colorful and warm personality with a charming dose of European-influenced style and sensibility.
