HFTP and Shiji Group Premiere GX: Guest Experience Spotlight
HFTP and Shiji Group launch a global campaign highlighting forward thinking hotels setting a new standard of service excellence in the age of technology
This week, HFTP and Shiji Group unveiled GX: Guest Experience Spotlight at HITEC Dubai's Opening Ceremony to an audience of hundreds of hoteliers.
GX is a global campaign which spotlights forward-thinking hotels who are using cutting-edge technology to reimagine the guest experience. Candidates are selected from a panel of hospitality and technology experts, and range from high-end luxury properties, to independent boutique hotels, to some of the most high-tech brands in the world. Successful candidates will receive global exposure in numerous social media outlets, major hospitality industry events, and in top hospitality media publications.
HITEC's Opening Ceremony featured introductory remarks by HFTP Deputy CEO Thomas Atzenhofer and Shiji Group's SVP of EMEA, Sven Mass, introducing a short video explaining the inspiration behind the GX campaign. The ceremony also corresponded with the release of GX's first feature-length article, spotlighting TI'ME Hotels, an upscale business and leisure brand based out of Dubai. The article explores how TI'ME combines high-technology and a passion for service to redefine the art of hospitality.
"We don't just use technology for the sake of adding it to our list, but we make sure that the technology we are using is relevant to our business, and most importantly to our guests," said Joseph Fayad, Corporate Director of IT, TI'ME Hotels.
After the event Atzenhofer remarked, "GX is about showing the hospitality industry what can be possible when hoteliers embrace technology as a means to enhance the guest journey. We are shining a light on some of the most unique and forward-thinking properties on the planet, exploring the vision and strategies they use to transform the guest experience."
Mass continued, "Increasingly, technology is driving change across every touchpoint in the guest journey.
