What's an Expert View?

A view is an expert's take on a viewpoint which the Panel Champ posted to a Panel. An Expert View can be whatever you like: it can be a subjective, heartfelt reaction or opinion, agreeing or disagreeing with the Viewpoint; or it can add value by providing some objective facts or details illuminating an aspect of the Viewpoint without necessarily taking a stand for it or against it. The main thing we are after is substance. Our goal is that when all the Views have been collected and the Panel is published, readers will be enlightened by a variety of thought-provoking Views that were submitted from all over the world, and impressed with the breadth of opinion offered.

Who can submit a view?

Views are posted by Experts which have been invited and agreed to join a specific panel. For each new viewpoint, Experts receive an automated email to submit their view. A reminder email is sent two days prior to the Viewpoint submission deadline.

Does Hospitality Net edit Expert Views?

Submitted views are checked for spelling mistakes. No further editingis done, except in case a submitted view is too long (more than 3 paragraphs).

How is my Panel View authenticated?

After submitting a View, Experts receive an email asking them to confirm publication of their View. Only confirmed Views are included in a Viewpoint Article.

Can Experts post anonymous Views?

Yes... If Experts wish they can submit a masked view which will not display their name and title.

Can readers submit their view on a Panel Viewpoint?

Readers can comment on a view by using the 'Comment on this View' option listed under each view.
