Vancouver, B.C. | VRX Worldwide Inc. (TSX-V:VRW) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, VRX Studios Inc. (“VRX”), has completed an extensive custom production project for Luckie & Company, the agent acting on behalf of the Department of Tourism and Travel and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources of the State of Alabama (collectively “Alabama Tourism”). The content has now been certified by Alabama Tourism and integrated into Alabama’s official tourism websites: www.alapark.com and www.800Alabama.com. In addition to these sites, VRX will add the newly certified content of Alabama to VRX’s extensive archive of destination content and make it available to all online travel intermediaries.

As Alabama’s “Official Online Content Provider”, VRX has created virtual tours of Alabama’s leading tourist attractions and recreational sites. These locations include Alabama’s popular state parks, beaches, caves and other natural wonders as well as a sampling of famous attractions such as Talladega’s International Motortsports, Bellingrath Gardens, The Space & Rocket Center, Gulf Shores Beach in Mobile, and The Cheaha Resort State Park in Birmingham. Under the agreement, VRX will receive production fees for the creation of the content as well as ongoing fees for hosting and maintenance.

At the same time, VRX is afforded the opportunity to broaden its Destination Archive, expand its target markets, and gain access to a whole new group of customers at the State level.”

In addition to the production and hosting component of this Agreement, Tourism Alabama has granted VRX perpetual syndication rights for the life of the content. This will allow VRX to license the content to third parties for use in their own online marketing initiatives featuring Alabama, its many attractions, and related products and services. As Alabama Tourism has now certified the completed content, it has been added to VRX’s Destination Archive and is now available for general licensing.
