With only a month remaining until we enter Q4, we thought it was a good time to begin to analyze what is happening to online hotel bookings. Over the past few years, hotels have seen some large changes in direct and on-site bookings due to a number of factors. While the number people who are researching and booking online has sky rocketed, the amount of competition and alternative services available has also increased.

We took a look at the heaviest competition for hotels, the changes in customer search, and then the tools that hoteliers can use to recover some of their lost bookings, just in time for Q4!
